Company Detail media group s.r.o. (hereinafter "we" or "controller") is committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it and how we use it, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR).

2. What data we process

Depending on how you communicate with us, we may process the following categories of personal data:

  • Contact details — name, e-mail address, phone number (when you submit a contact form or enquiry)
  • Communication data — the content of messages sent by e-mail or via forms on the website
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, time of visit (via analytics tools)
  • Bookings and client account — termín a zvolená služba; u klientského účtu (zakládá se k rezervaci podle jména a e-mailu) také telefon, firma, zůstatek a historie věrnostních bodů, použité odměny a dárky. Přihlášení probíhá odkazem v e-mailu, bez hesla. Účet ti na požádání smažeme.
  • Marketing preferences — consent to receive a newsletter or marketing communications

3. Purpose and legal basis of processing

We process your personal data on these legal grounds:

  • Performance of a contract — to deliver ordered services (shooting, production, post-production)
  • Legitimate interest — to communicate with potential clients, analyse the website and improve our services
  • Consent — to send business communications and marketing materials, if you have given us consent
  • Legal obligation — to meet obligations under applicable law (accounting, taxes)

4. How long we keep data

We keep personal data only for as long as strictly necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:

  • Contact and business data — for the duration of the contractual relationship and 3 years after it ends
  • Accounting and tax documents — 10 years as required by law
  • Marketing consents — until consent is withdrawn
  • Analytics data — max. 26 months

5. Who we share data with

We don't sell or rent your personal data to third parties. Only the following may access it:

  • Our employees and collaborators to the extent necessary
  • Technical service providers (hosting, e-mail marketing, analytics) — always under a data processing agreement
  • Public authorities, where required by law

We mainly use these tools: Google Analytics (anonymised), Netlify (hosting and storing bookings and accounts), FormSubmit (delivering forms by e-mail), Resend (sending booking confirmations and sign-in links), Google Calendar (adding bookings).

6. Cookies

Our website uses cookies to make it work properly and to analyse traffic. We only use analytics cookies with your consent. To keep you signed in to your client account we use the essential cookie ds_s (valid for 30 days or until you sign out). You can withdraw your consent at any time.

As a data subject, you have these rights:

  • Right of access — you have the right to know what data we process about you
  • Right to rectification — if your data is inaccurate, you can ask us to correct it
  • Right to erasure — the "right to be forgotten", subject to legal conditions
  • Right to restriction of processing — in certain situations you can ask us to restrict processing
  • Right to data portability — you have the right to receive your data in a structured format
  • Right to object — you can object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Right to withdraw consent — you can withdraw marketing consent at any time
